Your Problems Are Gods Problems

But only if you belong to Him. We normally take care of our own property. We don*t take as much care of things that don*t belong to us, things that are not our responsibility. Same thing with God. He takes care of whatever we give to Him. We are responsible for whatever we do not give Him. If we do not give ourselves to Him, we are personally responsible for every problem that we will have. Like the Macedonians, we need to first give ourselves to Him. When we receive Him we give ourselves to Him. We receive the One who has all power and authority and we receive His will. Many have convinced themselves that they can have a god with no power and no authority over them, and a god who does not own them. They believe in a god whose will is not wonderful and indispensable. They believe they can have their own will. It is impossible to have both our own will and God*s will. That is only possible when we want exactly what He wants. Salvation changes our will. If He has not changed our sinful will, we have not been saved from it.

2 Corinthians 8:5b: . . . this they did, not as we hoped, but first gave their own selves to the Lord, and unto us by the will of God.

2 Corinthians 6:16: And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

Philippians 4:19: But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

If you are one of God*s people you belong to Him. Since you belong to Him He will take care of you and provide everything you need. Your problems are ultimately His problems. He will give you the ability to solve some of them. And there will be some problems that He will permit you to have because you need them. And He will solve the problems that you do not need. He is a whole lot better at solving problems than we are.

Psalms 119:71: It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn thy statutes.

2 Corinthians 12:9: And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

1 Peter 4:12: Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:

He even promises to help us with the problems we bring upon ourselves by our sin. When we confess and forsake them we find mercy.

Proverbs 28:13: He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.

If we cover our sins and do not forsake them, we will find no relief for the inevitable problems that they will cause.
